The ideal candidate has strong micro-soldering and PCB rework experience , particularly with SMT boards and

standards . Key Responsibilities Build, assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot electronic systems, modules, and prototypes. Perform electrical testing and set up test equipment and instrumentation. Troubleshoot electronic and electro-mechanical systems down to the component level . Perform functional, verification, and validation testing based on engineering procedures. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and engineering drawings . Perform PCB rework and micro-soldering , primarily on SMT boards. Document test results, configurations, and procedures. Install product firmware/software and assist with system testing. Build and repair cables and cable assemblies. Maintain test equipment and an organized, safe lab environment. Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and systems engineers. Travel occasionally for field testing, training, and customer support. Required Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) or a related technical field. 4+ years of hands-on electronics testing and troubleshooting experience. Strong experience with micro-soldering, PCB rework, and SMT components . Experience troubleshooting electronics and electro-mechanical systems to the component level .Proficiency using:
Digital multimeters, Oscilloscopes, and Analog/digital test equipment Experience with cable construction. Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and engineering documentation. Experience installing firmware/software on electronic products. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong understanding ofJ-STD-001
soldering standards . Must be a U.S. Citizen and clearable . Preferred Qualifications Experience working with DoD, Navy, or defense electronics . Experience with MIL-STD electronics and EMI/EMC considerations.J-STD-001
certification (or willingness to obtain/train).IPC-A-620
