General:

Use of laser and water jet equipment to cut various materials ranging, not limited to, wood products, fiberglass, steel, aluminum, urethane, rubber, acrylics. Candidate must be flexible with schedule.

Tasks:

Ability to operate laser, milling, water jet cutting systems. Ability to use calibration tools to properly ensure machine & tool tolerances. Assembly of proprietary products from pre-cut materials. Ability to read blueprints and CAD files to accurately assemble custom tools. Lifting and handling of wood, metal pieces and tooling. Clean & maintain department equipment. Maintaining equipment preventative maintenance schedule logs. Required to understand and use safety equipment reflective of department. Able to organize assigned tasks, for completion alone or with help. Able to complete and fulfill paperwork required for personal time sheets in a timely manner. Cross-training and support of other production departments. Treat all Marbach information and customer information in a confidential manner. Inform supervisor of problems or issues which affect the companies' ability to meet customer requirements. Department quality control Read and understand work order paperwork. Repair/maintain high pressure pipes on water jet equipment.

Physical Requirements:

Lifting and handling of wood, metal pieces and tooling. Able to stand for long periods and be adaptable to a changing work environment. Able to perform repetitive motions and must have strong finger dexterity. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to sharp objects, fumes or airborne particles and a loud noise level.
