Electronics Service Technician - South Bend, IN Description LEA Professional is seeking an energetic, self-motivated, detail-oriented Electronics Service Technician ready to make an impact on the professional audio market. As a member of the Service and Support team, the individual must be willing to deliver top notch service and support for LEA Professional customers when service is required. Roles and Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair to system, board, or component level circuit boards requiring service.
- Soldering, both through hole and surface mount technology.
- Operate test equipment used to measure performance characteristics of circuits, including digital meters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, audio test systems, etc.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for communication between employees, suppliers, and customers, as necessary.
- Utilizes basic Microsoft Office software
- Enter service and repair notes into Netsuite ERP system
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications The preferred candidate will possess successful problem-solving skills, ability to understand circuit schematics and soldering and electronics rework skills.
