Industrial Maintenance Technician Starting Pay:
$28.00/hour, based on experience Do you enjoy figuring out how things work, solving problems, and keeping equipment running smoothly? If so, this could be the opportunity for you! We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician . In this hands-on role, you'll help keep equipment and facility operating safely, reliably, and efficiently. You'll work closely with the Maintenance and Production teams to troubleshoot problems, make repairs, and perform preventive maintenance. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys a good technical challenge, and can work both independently and as part of a team. What You'll Do Install, troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and maintain production equipment and facility systems. Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to keep equipment reliable and reduce downtime. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, automation, and control systems. Read and use electrical schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and equipment specifications to diagnose problems. Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and support our automation systems. Maintain equipment such as electrical saws, CNC machines, cutting and compression equipment, packaging machinery, and facility systems. Help with equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and process improvements. Perform routine equipment inspections and look for ways to improve reliability and performance. Keep maintenance records, equipment documentation, and work orders up to date. Help source and order parts and materials needed for repairs. Respond to equipment issues and work with Production to get things running safely and efficiently. Work with other members of the Maintenance team to solve problems and improve plant performance. Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies, including proper use of PPE. Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe. Take on other maintenance-related projects and duties as needed. What We're Looking For Required At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Hands-on experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, Industrial Electrician, or in a related skilled trade. Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and industrial controls. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Good communication, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a busy manufacturing environment. We'd Love to See An associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field. Experience with PLC programming or advanced PLC troubleshooting. Light machining, welding, or fabrication experience. Experience sourcing parts, obtaining quotes, and coordinating outside services. Knowledge of preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and equipment reliability programs.
