Join our dynamic team as a Pipeline Inspection Equipment Repair Technician and become a vital part of underground infrastructure maintenance and troubleshooting! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex electrical systems that are utilized to inspect anything underground or inaccessible by your fellow humans. Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of underground electronic inspection equipment, contributing to the safety and efficiency of utility services for the common man. Duties Perform electrical diagnostics on underground electronic inspection systems, identifying faults and troubleshooting issues with efficiency and precision. Conduct field service repair, and maintenance of subterranean electrical equipment. Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters and soldering irons to perform electrical soldering and component replacements. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting guides to accurately diagnose system problems. Repair and maintain AC/DC electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards for low voltage applications. Conduct computer hardware diagnostics related to underground control systems and network connectivity. Collaborate with engineering teams to develop solutions for electrical system upgrades or modifications, ensuring optimal performance. Skills Strong electrical diagnostics skills with experience in troubleshooting complex AC/DC electrical systems. Proficiency with hand tools, soldering techniques, and diagrams. Knowledge of computer hardware, networking fundamentals, and system maintenance. Ability to read schematics accurately and follow engineering troubleshooting procedures. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and maintenance in challenging environments. Experience with low voltage systems, ohmmeters, and electrical safety protocols.
