A Calibration Technician is responsible for the routine inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of instruments and manufacturing equipment. The purpose of the calibration technician role is to ensure the accuracy of the measurements taken using this equipment.
Adecco Staffing is partnering with a local manufacturer in Attleboro, MA to fill a Calibration Technician on 1st shift. This is a direct hire position and the hours will be 7AM-3:30 PM M-F with a pay range of $55,000-$75,000 depending on skills and experience.
Position Summary:
The Industrial Calibrator is responsible for maintaining, testing and repairing a variety of electrical instrumentation and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Calibrate, maintain and repair electronic measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment used in the manufacturing of clad metal strip products. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair operating systems as necessary Observe, monitor and record if necessary status of utility equipment Make routine, periodic inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery and equipment. Assist operators in routine maintenance procedures. Maintains records of scheduled and emergency maintenance procedures. Performs a variety of work in the maintenance. Maintain an acceptable level of housekeeping in work areas. Other duties as required.
Education and Experience:
High School/Trade School 3-5 years of related experience Electrician license preferred Shop math Must be capable of understanding basic electronics, reading prints, and work instruction, calibrating units from test procedures
Physical Demands:
Some heavy lifting and considerable moving of equipment may be required. May be required to drive fork truck, climb ladders, and work in small areas.
