In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and repairing a wide range of building systems and machinery. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for staff and visitors alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills in a dynamic setting while contributing to the overall success of our operations. Duties Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on facilities equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and building interior components. Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using schematics, hand tools, and testing devices such as ohmmeters. Perform HVAC system repairs, including filter replacements, refrigerant checks, and system calibrations to ensure optimal climate control. Carry out plumbing maintenance tasks such as pipe repairs, leak detection, and system repairs to uphold building safety standards. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose automation issues and perform necessary adjustments or repairs. Execute welding tasks for metal fabrication or repair projects requiring mechanical strength. Conduct maintenance painting and carpentry work to uphold facility aesthetics and structural integrity. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, schematics updates, and safety documentation. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex repairs or renovations when necessary. Skills Extensive knowledge of electrical work, electrical equipment repair, and electrical safety protocols. Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and troubleshooting automation systems. Strong mechanical skills with experience in plumbing system maintenance and repair. Skilled in HVAC system diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance procedures. Ability to operate hand tools effectively for carpentry, painting, welding, and general maintenance tasks. Familiarity with facilities maintenance operations (MRO) practices to optimize equipment longevity. Experience with building interior maintenance including drywall repair, painting (residential or commercial), and fixtures installation. Knowledge of plumbing codes and best practices for plumbing system repairs. Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly in English with team members and stakeholders.
