Pay Estimated:

Responsibilities:

Interpret complex engineering drawings, schematics, and system diagrams to understand component interfaces and system functionality Perform system-level troubleshooting down to component level for electro-optic, laser, and experimental electronic systems Execute testing, checkout, and diagnostic activities using schematics, layouts, written instructions, and engineering plans Build, modify, and assemble prototype hardware, including experimental circuitry and electro-optic subsystems Lay out, calibrate, install, adjust, and maintain specialized laboratory and test equipment Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other technicians supporting engineering development activities

Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, Optics, Photonics, or related discipline (or equivalent experience) Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on technical experience supporting engineering development or prototype systems

Technical Skills:

Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation Experience with system troubleshooting to component level Knowledge of engineering specifications, requirements, standards, and technical practices

Preferred Experience:
