From the Baltimore, Maryland branch, you will partner with the Service Manager and a team of experts to diagnose problems others can't see, restore precision to complex systems, and earn customer trust through craftsmanship and service. How you'll make an impact Conduct end-to-end inspections to uncover defects before they become downtime. Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems on mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes. Measure wear and damage with micrometers and gauges to determine next steps. Turn manuals, blueprints, and schematics into a clear plan of action. Validate every repair and modification through testing to OEM specifications. Pre-stage work by confirming parts and drawings are accurate and complete. Execute thorough annual inspections. Capture the details—time, reports, hours, and expenses—with accuracy. Operate independently, communicate clearly, and deliver standout customer service. Embrace additional responsibilities as assigned. Your background High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of two (2) years as a Mechanic/Technician. Hands-on experience with Grove RT & TMS, Grove GMK (European), Manitowoc EPIC or Traditional models, and National boom trucks (preferred). Proficient in reading hydraulic and electrical schematics. Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach. Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving history preferred. Comfort with basic computer applications preferred. Own a complete set of hand tools up to 1.5 inches. Safety culture Work safely at all times and wear required PPE. Adhere to site-wide and job-specific safety procedures. Participate in safety training and demonstrate competency. Speak up—report hazards and correct what you can. Workload, hours, and environment This is a full-time role with a typical schedule of 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Business demands may require overtime and occasional weekends.
