This role is a good fit for someone with automotive repair experience who enjoys working with test equipment, troubleshooting mechanical systems, and supporting vehicle development. Set up and support dynamometer bench testing . Select test patterns, download software, start tests, and monitor test progress. Install, remove, and service transaxles and related components . Monitor testing and assist with basic test data analysis . Troubleshoot mechanical and test-related issues. Support hourly testing activities and keep testing on schedule. Work closely with technicians and engineering team members. Handle multiple test assignments and priorities as needed. Requirements Must be available to work 2nd shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM. High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of dynamometer or bench testing ; transaxle testing strongly preferred. 2-5 years of hands-on automotive service or repair , including installing, removing, or repairing transaxles. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team. Comfortable working in a hands-on automotive testing environment. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree or technical certification in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field . General automotive repair background. Experience working with automotive powertrain or drivetrain systems. ASE certification(s). Previous experience supporting automotive testing or engineering teams.
