Job Description

Maintenance Electrical Technician II responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting manufacturing and plant equipment. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED Hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Intermediate electrical troubleshooting experience Intermediate pneumatic circuit troubleshooting experience Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and electrical schematics Understanding of electrical motors, servo motors, and vision systems Experience using troubleshooting tools, including multimeters Ability to replace components such as temperature controllers, sensors, and power supplies Ability to maintain maintenance and repair logs Experience using hand tools, power tools, test tools, and maintenance equipment Knowledge of manufacturing and plant equipment installation, maintenance, and repair Understanding of HMI system interaction Knowledge of MIOSHA standards Preferred Skills Intermediate technical training or certification in electrical circuits Maintenance certificate Experience in medical device manufacturing or a related industry Understanding of machining, milling, and lathe equipment Understanding of form fill and seal equipment Understanding of bar seal and tray seal equipment Experience estimating labor and equipment costs Experience preparing requisitions Experience modifying or redesigning electrical, electronic, optical, vacuum, or mechanical systems for existing equipment Job Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs on line manufacturing and plant equipment Locate and diagnose equipment failures Replace defective electrical and mechanical components Perform basic troubleshooting using electronic test equipment, drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and written or verbal instructions Maintain maintenance and repair logs Use hand, power, and test tools to complete maintenance tasks Interact with HMI systems during troubleshooting and repair activities Troubleshoot electrical circuits and pneumatic circuits Replace components including temperature controllers, sensors, power supplies, and related equipment Support maintenance and repair of motors, servo motors, and vision systems Support equipment upgrades or redesigns for existing manufacturing equipment Estimate labor and equipment costs when required Prepare requisitions for maintenance-related materials and equipment Follow MIOSHA standards and applicable maintenance procedures
