Key Responsibilities Support the design and modification of progressive dies, stamping tools, and metal forming equipment Assist with process improvement projects focused on increasing throughput and reducing scrap Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for production and quality issues Help create and update engineering documentation, including drawings, BOMs, and work instructions Conduct time studies, capability studies, and process mapping on the production floor Support new product introduction (NPI) and engineering change order (ECO) processes Collaborate with Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Quality teams on cross-functional projects Perform basic CAD modeling and drawing revisions (SolidWorks or AutoCAD) Assist with equipment installations, validations, and preventive maintenance improvements Prepare technical reports, data analysis, and presentations for engineering reviews Required Skills and Education Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) Solid analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environmentAbout AAM:
