Electronic Repair/Support technician LaserBlast - 4.0 Plymouth, MI Job Details Full-time 4 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Email customer support Phone communication Windows Ladder use Manufacturing facility experience Driver's License Lifts and hoists Power tools Linux Manufacturing Hand tools Mechanical knowledge Client interaction via phone calls Full Job Description Repair laser tag equipment in our Plymouth office. Training will be provided on all repairs, which will require use of basic hand tools & soldering iron. (Experience with electronic repair is a plus but training is provided) Pack and ship repaired equipment. Answer customer inquiries via phone and email primarily. Up to 25% travel could be required for equipment installation (training will be provided). Communicate effectively during installation, including: suggesting equipment placement and securing customer approval of these locations, reminding customer of optional items that are their responsibility to provide, coordinating with other on-site vendors who will be working in the same space, helping to clear up any confusion about what the customer is receiving, taking images and video of the installed product, scheduling a training time with customer staff members. Skills/Traits Required Strong written and verbal communication skills; e-mails, phone, and in-person communication. Comfortable with navigating windows 10/11 (Linux is a plus). Able & willing to use scissor lifts and ladders. Able & willing to stand for long periods during travel periods. Able to lift 50 pounds. Professional presentation; this is the business of fun, suits are not required. However, company attire, good hygiene and a good attitude are mandatory. Strong work ethic; you will have a high degree of autonomy. Must be self-motivated. Valid Driver's License required. Must be available on relatively short notice. Most travel arrangements are made 1-3 weeks beforehand.
