Engineering Test Technician -
Medical Device Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30
PM Environment:
Medical Device Testing / Lab Overview Our client is seeking an Engineering Test Technician to perform predefined testing on medical devices, consoles, and consumables. This hands-on position is responsible for conducting in-house testing, maintaining test equipment and documentation, and supporting the movement of tests between device washing and autoclave steps. Due to the size of the shift, the Engineering Test Technician will frequently need to reprioritize work semi-independently based on workload and test availability. Responsibilities Conduct predefined in-house testing on medical devices, consoles, consumables, raw materials, finished products, and equipment. Review test requests and reports from internal and external customers. Support the design, construction, programming, integration, and validation of test systems. Maintain accurate testing records in accordance with company specifications. Use appropriate software and technological tools to maintain documentation and records. Understand, maintain, and operate testing systems. Apply appropriate testing procedures and techniques while building test fixtures and executing tests. Identify opportunities to improve test systems, procedures, and techniques. Understand and apply lab performance metrics. Provide recommendations for continuously improving Test Lab performance. Maintain accountability and fitness of Test Lab equipment. Manage testing priorities based on workload, test availability, and production and delivery schedules. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Manufacturing process knowledge and mechanical aptitude. Ability to read blueprints, prints, product
Pay:
$28.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
