accredited calibration laboratory and subsidiary of Leader Corporation, is seeking a motivated Calibration Technician/Laboratory Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for calibrating, inspecting, and certifying precision measuring equipment while maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on technical work, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in producing accurate, traceable calibration results. Whether you have previous calibration experience or come from a machining, quality, manufacturing, or inspection background, we encourage motivated individuals with strong mechanical aptitude to apply. Responsibilities Perform calibration of precision measuring instruments and gages. Inspect, evaluate, and certify customer equipment in accordance with
ISO/IEC 17025
procedures. Record measurement data and prepare calibration certificates. Operate precision laboratory equipment and measurement systems. Follow established laboratory procedures and quality system requirements. Maintain calibration records and documentation. Assist with troubleshooting measurement issues and verifying instrument performance. Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory equipment and work areas. Work safely while handling precision instruments and customer equipment. Equipment You'll Work With Depending on experience and training, technicians may calibrate: Thread plug and ring gages Micrometers Calipers Bore gages Pin gages Gage blocks Height gages Indicators and comparators Torque wrenches Pressure gages Electrical test equipment Force measuring equipment Temperature measuring devices Additional precision dimensional and metrology equipment ICM performs accredited calibrations across dimensional, electrical, mechanical, thermodynamic, acoustical, and time/frequency disciplines.
Qualifications Preferred:
Experience in calibration, quality control, inspection, machining, manufacturing, or metrology. Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments. Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail. Basic computer skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or GED required. Technical school, machining, engineering technology, or metrology experience is a plus but not required.
