Job Description

TARUS Products is a machine tool builder and a global supplier of innovative CNC machines. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CMM Field Service Calibration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in operating, maintaining, and calibrating coordinate measuring machines (CMM). This role involves traveling to client sites to perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibrating.
Duties:
Perform on-site calibration, maintenance, and repair of CMMs. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues in CMM systems Conduct inspections and performance tests to verify machine accuracy Document calibration data and generate service reports Provide technical support to customers regarding CMM operation and maintenance Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company quality/safety standards
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CMM Calibration Technician or similar role Strong knowledge of CMM equipment, software and calibration techniques Familiarity with Tarus, Renishaw, Siemens, Heidenhain and Fanuc brands and operating software is a plus Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical specifications and GD&T Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong communication and customer service skills Willingness to travel for on-site service work
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift to 50 pounds without assistance Standing and bending are required

Full-time Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
