Engineering Technician:

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and electromechanical systems Repair and optimize existing door systems while supporting new product development projects Create and update detailed mechanical drawings using SolidWorks 3D CAD software Conduct engineering tests to verify system functionality, performance, and reliability Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to improve designs and manufacturing processes Document troubleshooting activities, test results, and project outcomes accurately What You Need to Bring to the

Engineering Technician Role:

High school diploma or GED required; technical degree in Mechatronics, Automation, or related field preferred Manufacturing experience preferred PLC/HMI troubleshooting experience preferred Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Strong problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills Basic computer networking knowledge preferred Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and work in both office and production environments Reliable attendance and willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites for troubleshooting and documentation #DohertyNewCareer #
