Job Description
gpac is working with a well-established, family-owned food manufacturer in Bergen County, New Jersey, that has been in business for more than 35 years . As the company continues to grow, they're looking to hire Electrical Technicians on both DAY and NIGHT shifts . This company has grown into a multi-brand manufacturer serving retail, foodservice, and private-label customers , and continues to expand its product lines and retail presence. Inside the plant, you'll find a highly automated operation with everything from robotics and PLC-controlled equipment to packaging, cooking, freezing, and material-handling systems.

Day Shift:
6:00 AM•4:00 PM | $25•40/hourNight Shift:

480V three-phase electrical systems PLC-controlled equipment VFDs and motor controls Servos and drives Sensors and instrumentation Electrical schematics Machine safety circuits Robotics and automation Automated production and packaging equipment You won't be stuck making the same repair on the same machine every day. The equipment mix gives experienced technicians an opportunity to expand their controls knowledge while solving real production problems .WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR
3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience Strong electrical troubleshooting skills Experience working in a manufacturing environment Ability to troubleshoot electrical and controls problems independently PLC, VFD, motor-control, and automation experience strongly preferred Food or beverage manufacturing experience is a big plus NJ electrical license, journeyman card, or apprentice registration is a plus, but not required If you're an experienced industrial electrical technician who enjoys figuring out why equipment went down—not just resetting it and waiting for it to happen again —this is an opportunity worth hearing about.
