Job Summary:

The Laser Welding Operator assists in the production of quality laser welded metal parts. This role requires at least basic laser welding skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Unpackage and prep incoming parts Read process traveler, follow and sign off on all listed steps Set up laser workstations and parameters as per weld logs Run laser workstations in a production environment Cut and etch weld specimens Post-weld inspect using a microscope for defects Change cover glass on laser workstations Clean and repackage parts after welding

Required Competencies:

Ability to meet customer and EBI's qualification requirements for laser welding operators (i.e. eye exams, weld samples, proficiency) Good communication and organizational skills Ability to stand for at least 8 hours a day

Required Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent
