Job Description
Consolidated Precision Products (CPP Corporation) seeks an Instrumentation Technician to support Engineering & Maintenance operations in our manufacturing facilities. You will install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain process instrumentation, PLCs, and control systems to ensure reliable, safe production. Working closely with engineers and maintenance teams, you'll drive root-cause analysis, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Install, calibrate, and maintain industrial instrumentation and control systems in a manufacturing environment Troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, transmitters, and control loops to minimize downtime Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on instrumentation and related equipment Interpret electrical and P&ID drawings to support system modifications and upgrades Collaborate with Engineering & Maintenance teams on process improvements and new equipment commissioning Document work in CMMS and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Required Skills Industrial instrumentation PLC troubleshooting Control systems (PID, DCS) Calibration of sensors and transmitters Electrical schematics reading Loop checks and signal testing Industrial networking (4-20m A, HART) Preventive and predictive maintenance Safety systems (lockout/tagout) CMMS usage and documentation
