Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for an Automation Technician position in Rochester, NY. Responsibilities:
Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement. Perform immediate and preventative maintenance for manufacturing production equipment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment documentation Knowledge of
GMP, ISO
standards, and regulatory requirements in manufacturing environments Expertise using precision measurement tools and test equipment Engages the Maintenance and Engineering team to challenge the status quo to make continuous operational improvements. Collaborate with all appropriate departments/staff in progress updates, problem analysis, and corrective action recommendations. Work with Molding, Scheduling and Production Manager on prioritizing machine repair scheduling. Work closely with robotics, vision systems, ultrasonic welding, and off set & inkjet printing to produce finished assemblies
Requirements:
2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, maintenance, or a related role required Experience with PLC systems, SCADA, and automated manufacturing equipment preferred Experience performing equipment calibration and validation, and preventive maintenance programs and documentation Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and automated systems Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing software systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) High School diploma or GED This role is being recruited for by one of our Centralized Delivery Team and not your local Branch. Pay Details:
