Transformer Engineer / Senior Magnetics Technician (OOJ - 46746) 85000-130000 / US Dollars / Annual Salary NPAworldwide Recruitment Network update Last updated: Jul/01/2026 Job Description Technician We are seeking a Transformer Engineer or Senior Magnetics Technician with hands-on experience in the design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of magnetic components. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in magnets, transformers, inverters, magnetic cores, windings, and inductive devices. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot magnetic components, including transformers, inductors, cores, and windings. Support inverter and power conversion product development. Work with customers and internal teams to define specifications and technical requirements. Analyze test data and resolve design, manufacturing, and performance issues. Support prototype builds, product qualification, and production activities. Assist with technical presentations, documentation, and supplier interactions.
Qualifications:
Experience with magnetic component design, testing, or manufacturing. Strong knowledge of magnets, transformers, inverters, cores, and winding technologies. Ability to troubleshoot electrical and magnetic performance issues. Experience with magnetic materials, wire, laminations, bobbins, and related components is a plus. Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent hands-on experience as a senior-level technician will be considered. 2+ years of relevant experience for an engineer; more experience required for a technician.
