This energetic position involves performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and cosmetic tasks to ensure properties are move-in ready, safe, and visually appealing. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive repairs and touch-ups including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC system repairs, and facilities equipment maintenance to ensure units are move-in ready. Perform electrical equipment repair and troubleshooting using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as welding, carpentry, plumbing repairs, and electrical installations. Maintain building interior elements through maintenance painting, drywall repairs, flooring fixes, and general cosmetic improvements. Repair and service HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation and energy efficiency while adhering to safety standards. Follow detailed schematics and technical manuals for complex systems like programmable logic controllers (PLCs) or electrical panels during troubleshooting or upgrades. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with residents or tenants regarding repair timelines or ongoing work. Assist with plumbing system maintenance and repairs, including leak detection, fixture replacement, or pipe repairs. Support facilities equipment maintenance including elevators, fire safety systems, or security devices as needed. Document completed work accurately in maintenance logs and report any major issues requiring additional attention or specialist intervention. Experience Proven experience in residential or commercial property maintenance with a strong background in mechanical knowledge and electrical work. Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, PLCs (programmable logic controllers), and electrical equipment repair is highly desirable. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers along with power tools for various repair tasks. Knowledge of plumbing systems including maintenance and repair of pipes, fixtures, and drainage systems. Experience with building interior maintenance including painting (residential painting), carpentry, drywall patching, flooring fixes, and general cosmetic touch-ups. Ability to read technical schematics and use diagnostic tools like ohmmeters effectively. Strong communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and residents effectively. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards in all work performed.
