Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a Technician Electro-Mechanical for a Contract to hire job with a client in Columbus, OH . The ideal candidate must have experience in electrical testing, troubleshooting, power electronics, and electro-mechanical assemblies, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Rate Range:
$22/hour to $24/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Technician Electro-Mechanical job responsibilities include:
Perform verification testing on circuit boards, power systems, and electro-mechanical assemblies. Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment. Conduct basic circuit analysis and identify faults in electronic and power control systems. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, assembly drawings, and parts lists to support testing and troubleshooting activities. Perform testing and validation activities involving AC/DC power systems, including equipment operating at up to 480 VAC 3-Phase and 240 VDC . Support electro-mechanical assembly activities utilizing hand tools and standard assembly procedures. Document test results, troubleshooting findings, and corrective actions while maintaining quality and safety standards. Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production teams to resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.Desired Qualifications:
Diploma or Certificate in Electronics Technology, Electrical Technology, or related field; equivalent military or industry experience will also be considered.Experience working with:
Power Electronics, AC/DC Electrical Systems, Electro-Mechanical Assemblies, Electronic Testing & Troubleshooting Strong understanding of: Electrical Principles, Circuit Analysis, Power Distribution Systems, Electronic Components Proficiency using: Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Component Testers, Digital Test Equipment Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience testing industrial electrical equipment and power conversion systems. Knowledge of AC/DC power electronics and high-voltage electrical environments. Experience working in manufacturing, electronics, or industrial testing environments. Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical assembly and repair activities.
