Job Summary Develops, designs, builds and tests robotic platforms from prototype through product commercialization. Creates an integrated autonomous interface, mobility, communication, and human-robot interaction. Works with cross-functional teams to understand opportunities for robotic applications. Impact of the Role General Profile Requires working knowledge and skills to perform a defined set of analytical scientific or operational processes Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within own area of expertise Works within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods Works with a moderate degree of supervision Performs manual tasks according to established procedures Essential Functions Assists engineers with the development and implementation of automation systems or components. Programs, installs, tests, and maintains robots or automated components. Assists in the commissioning and deployment of new automation installations, conducts field trials to ensure appropriate operation, and prepares reports or records documenting actions or findings. Investigate and troubleshoots defects or bugs, complete repairs and provides preventative maintenance. Additional Responsibilities Trouble shooting using Studio 5000. Exposure to Fanuc Robotics and Yaskawa Motoman robotics experience a plus. Exposure to Allen Bradley, Siemens and Unitronics PLC's a plus. Repairing, installing, and diagnosing sensors/alarms in a production setting. Serve as the first level technical response to errors, mechanical, and electrical issues on the process line. Required Qualifications Required education and experience: Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 2-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience Preferred Qualifications Preferred education and experience: Associate's Degree

May need to stand for long periods of time. Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.
