Job Description

Equipment Service & Repair Technician Location Twinsburg, OH Job Category Engineering, Facilities & Maintenance, Manufacturing & Production Division Intralox Intralox is seeking a Machine, Equipment Service & Repair Technician to join the Facilities Management and Engineering Team at our Twinsburg, Ohio location. This individual will be responsible for advanced level troubleshooting and repair of complex extrusion machines, Hydraulic systems, process equipment, facilities support equipment and various systems within a high-precision manufacturing facility. In this specialized technical role, you will perform complex repairs, maintenance and programming of machine tools while enhancing the skill set of our current Machine Repair team. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, embrace new technologies, and is motivated to pursue additional education, seminars, classes, and professional certifications that strengthen their technical capabilities and long-term career growth. This role includes supporting multiple facilities, which require travel among various buildings, as well as overtime to meet operational needs. Responsibilities:
Advanced level troubleshooting and repair of complex extrusion and injection molding machines, process equipment, facilities support equipment and various systems within a high-precision manufacturing facility. Diagnose and repair to a component level, problems in complex precision electro-mechanical machinery and equipment. Identify out of tolerance equipment and gauges. Make appropriate repair decisions adhering to company and customer guidelines. Analyze failures and implement modifications as a preventive maintenance measure. Work with management, equipment manufacturers, vendors, and other organizations to analyze problems and make repairs and improvements. Source and order parts, supplies, and services as needed. Use computerized maintenance and calibration tracking system. Develop and implement training material and work instructions. Reads drawings, schematics, service manuals or verbal instructions and operates a variety of tools and machines incidental to operations. Ensures facility and production equipment is maintained and repairs performed, also ensures appropriate maintenance documentation is completed and filed. Requisitions for new supplies and equipment including reviews for new machine tool purchases. Will be required to be on call to provide telephone assistance as well as emergency response to the facility. Self-management of day-to-day tasks working to complete critical repairs and PM as required for Operations. Strong willingness to learn and continuously develop new skills.
Requirements:
Ten (10) years or more of general maintenance experience or equivalent technical experience gained through military service or trade/technical school programs. Experience with electrical and mechanical equipment maintenance and installation Wiring and rewiring control panels Troubleshooting and repairing electrical malfunctions Installing and upgrading electrical components installing and configuring PLC hardware 5 to 10 plus years' experience in a manufacturing environment Testing and calibrating equipment In depth knowledge of various maintenance operations to execute installation, service, and repairs Experience/licenses/advanced training with some combination of industrial trades (electrical, hydraulics, refrigeration, boilers, chillers, motor controllers Ability and willingness to travel among buildings and to other states as needed Willingness to work overtime as necessary Demonstrated emotional intelligence, professionalism, and positive, solutions-focused attitude High proficiency in using tablets, smartphones, and computers as part of daily work processes Desired Qualifications

Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram (FBD)
PLC Platforms:
Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Schneider Electric
HMI & SCADA
Systems:
Configuration, integration, and troubleshooting
Electrical Schematics:
Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and blueprints
Sensor & Actuator Integration:
Working with input/output devices
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:
Using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and software tools
Preventive Maintenance:
Scheduling and executing system check and updates Interest in pursuing additional education, such as trade seminars, technical classes, and industry certifications, to support ongoing professional development. EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled #LI-AT1
