This role ensures professional and technical expertise to improve the efficiency of our operational systems, improve the quality of our products, and find more cost-effective ways to meet these goals while reducing costs. Perform duties to ensure that all electrical and instrumentation maintenance is performed; replace and repair components and parts as needed, program monitoring systems, and troubleshoot errors to keep the plant in safe and efficient operating condition. The schedule is a rotating swing shift 2-2-3-2-2-3 2 on 2 off 3 on and so on rotating every 2 weeks from 6AM-6PM to 6PM-6AM. Job Responsibilities Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, electronic, instrumentation, and process control issues using appropriate tools and software. Test, repair, and maintain process instrumentation, including flow meters, level transmitters, level switches, and related equipment. Work with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to resolve equipment and system issues efficiently.

Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and equipment manuals. Program, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLC and DCS systems. Repair and maintain electrical, electronic, and electromechanical production equipment. Collect and analyze PLC input/output data to monitor equipment performance and support future process improvements. Troubleshoot and maintain process control systems to ensure reliable operation. Complete and maintain required documentation, control records, and drawings; update documentation to reflect process improvements and field modifications. Assist management and engineering teams with projects, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Follow all safety, quality, sanitation, and company procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Coordinate and oversee contractor and vendor activities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and productivity. Job Requirements Must be able to work on a rotating shift schedule. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required and a 2-year certification from college or technical school or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in Electrical Engineering, Electronics is preferred. Three years of strong industrial electrical background in a manufacturing environment. Strong electronics background is preferred with experience also in 480 volt, 2300 volt, 35k volts, 3-PhaseControls; AB/Rockwell DC Drive; AB/Rockwell PLC's, Control Logic; Reading Electrical Drawings andLadder Logic. Experience with variable frequency drives and smart field instruments (i.e. pressure, flow, temperature,level and analytical transmitters, valve positioners, valve actuators and PID controllers) is necessary. Understanding of the working components of PLC/DCS systems.
