Hurst Construction is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician to join our team in Northeast Oklahoma. This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical, instrumentation, and control systems. The ideal candidate is a dependable, safety-minded technician who can work independently, troubleshoot problems in the field, read electrical and instrumentation drawings, and complete quality work in industrial environments. Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical and instrumentation systems. Install and terminate conduit, cable tray, wiring, control panels, instruments, and electrical equipment. Troubleshoot AC/DC electrical circuits, control circuits, motors, motor controls, and related equipment. Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair transmitters, switches, control valves, analyzers, and other process instrumentation. Troubleshoot 4-20 mA signals and other industrial control signals. Work with PLC, HMI, SCADA, and other industrial control systems. Perform loop checks, point-to-point checks, commissioning, and startup activities. Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, panel drawings, and manufacturer documentation. Use multimeters, process calibrators, and other electrical/instrumentation test equipment. Diagnose equipment and control-system problems and make repairs efficiently. Follow

70E, customer requirements, and company safety procedures. Complete required documentation and communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and other trades. Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in a professional manner. Assist and provide guidance to less-experienced technicians and apprentices when needed. Qualifications 5+ years of industrial instrumentation and electrical experience preferred. Strong electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting skills. Experience with industrial controls, PLCs, instrumentation, and process equipment. Ability to read electrical drawings, P&IDs, loop sheets, and control schematics. Experience installing and troubleshooting 120/240/480V industrial electrical systems. Knowledge of NEC and industrial electrical safety practices. Experience with

PLC/DCS/SCADA

systems is strongly preferred. Experience in oil & gas, midstream, manufacturing, processing, power generation, or similar industrial environments is preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Must be able to work safely and productively with limited supervision. Must be willing to travel to job sites as required. Must be able to work overtime and occasional call-outs as project and customer needs require.
