Description:

R D Interconnect Solutions is seeking an Engineering Technician at our Allentown, PA location. The Engineering Technician will be trained to operate and program production equipment such as pick & place and solder paste reflow equipment as well as measurement instruments, learn CAD/CAM tools, assemble elastomeric product, inspect product, and write and follow standard operating procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

Operate manufacturing equipment: set-up, program, operation, and shutdown Read and interpret work instructions and electronic and printed documents and forms Plan and execute complex development projects in collaboration with engineers and other technicians and analyze resulting data Inspect product using microscope and electronic measurement equipment; identify defects and determine root cause of process related issues Identify and segregate Quality related issues Solder small components onto PCB's Solder under a microscope Perform rework Enter data into ERP system Suggest process improvements and cost reductions Follow clean room policies, practice 6S principles in order to maintain a safe, neat, and orderly workplace Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
