Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician - CNC Machine Repair to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machine tools at customer sites. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with CNC machinery, electrical and mechanical systems, PLCs, and CNC controls. This position requires someone who can work independently in the field while providing professional customer service and maintaining strong relationships with customers and OEM partners. Key Responsibilities Install, commission, align, calibrate, and perform functional testing of CNC machines. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, CNC control, and PLC-related issues . Service CNC equipment including FANUC, Mazak, Okamoto , and similar machine tools. Troubleshoot multi-axis machines, CNC lathes, and vertical/horizontal machining centers. Diagnose issues involving motors, drives, controls, sensors, and mechanical components. Perform preventive maintenance and machine adjustments as needed. Provide on-site training to customer operators and maintenance personnel. Complete service reports, parts usage records, and job summaries accurately. Communicate with service coordinators, customers, and OEM technical support as needed. Maintain company vehicle, tools, equipment, and parts inventory. Deliver professional, reliable service while building strong customer relationships. Travel Requirements Travel throughout Eastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, Maryland, and Delaware . Primarily day trips with occasional overnight travel. Ability to work independently at customer locations. Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience servicing CNC equipment. Experience with FANUC, Mazak, Okamoto , or similar CNC machine tools strongly preferred. Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings . Experience troubleshooting PLCs, motors, drives, and CNC controls . Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field , or equivalent hands-on experience. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory, including occasional overnight stays. Preferred Qualifications Experience with industrial automation and robotics . Experience with pallet changers and automated CNC systems. Familiarity with MS Office and digital service documentation systems. Strong communication and customer service skills. Pay:
$45.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
