Job Description

Overview Responsible for checking devices for quality control/assurance and verifying sales lists to ensure accuracy in sales listings.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and verify quality of refurbished equipment.
  • Performs routine audits on departments, reports, and equipment.
  • Demonstrates understanding of service policies and procedures, continuously develops depth and breadth of technical competencies.
  • Within the scope of a job, it requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
  • Performs quality checks on a range of ITAD equipment.
  • Refurbishes and Repairs equipment as needed including failure assessment, parts orders.
  • Accurately documents and keeps detailed records of all work-related activities.
  • Provides all other support as requested by the manager.
  • Works and interacts with current and prospective clients, other employees, sales representatives, vendors.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Stays abreast of changes in IT equipment technology.
  • Actively works to gain more knowledge and experience.
Experience and Experience:
1. 2 + years of hands-on experience performing device, testing and other electronics repair and maintenance 2. Broad experience with general IT devices, test equipment, and hand tools 3. Broad experience troubleshooting equipment faults and performing quality assurance testing on a variety of ITAD equipment. 4. General ITAD equipment knowledge. 5. Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with limited supervision. 6. Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of employees as well as customers both verbally and in writing. 7. Proficiency with computers to include installation and troubleshooting Operating Systems (Windows/macOS), MS Word, Excel, Outlook and ability to learn new software. 8. Ability to perform general arithmetic. 9. Ability to perform duties with a high level of judgment, discretion, and confidentiality. 10. Demonstrated ability to perform duties as assigned 11. Knowledge of Cosmetic grading of devices, and R2v3 rec codes is preferred. 12. Understanding of MDM systems and other types of locks on devices is preferred. (BIOS, Intune, iCloud, etc.)

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and protocol
  • Knowledge of computer electronics and components
  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to clients and co-workers
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
