What you will be doing: Assist product engineers by preparing and conducting experiments, collecting data, and calculating or recording results. Aid in designing and implementing product testing infrastructure Test, repair, monitor, and maintain equipment, systems, test fixtures, and/or assemblies. Assist with the design of various electronic circuits, assemblies, and software. Assemble and test PCB assemblies incorporating thru hole and surface mount components. Identify and order necessary parts to support product development. Prepare and manage records for regulatory compliance and certification. Analyze and troubleshoot returned materials and electronic components. Assist investigation of electronic components for Root Cause Failure Analysis. Contribute to product development by providing design input and participating in design reviews. Work with internal and external customers to supply specifications, improve products, and monitor Field Trial units. Follow industry and company safety guidelines. Operate and troubleshoot products with a heavy focus on variable frequency drives (VFDs). Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise What you need: Read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Able to read and interpret complex circuits schematics. Write technical reports and test procedures. Work with general guidelines and standardized procedures/instructions. Able to operate, troubleshoot, and make technical decisions with minimal supervision. Use standard assembly techniques using soldering iron and standard hand tools. Use complex machines and electronic test equipment (such as oscilloscope, digital volt meter, function generator). Effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, the general public, and other employees of the organization. Identify and learn new technologies related to job duties. Maintain confidentiality and use discretion with business information Education and Experience Associate's degree in engineering, engineering technology, design technology, or a related field or equivalent experience (required). Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, design technology, or a related field or equivalent experience (preferred). 5+ years of relevant education or experience in electronics, electrical engineering technology, or a related field (required).
