Transmission Mechanic Columbia, South Carolina Full - time (OT available)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Transmission Re-Builder to join our team. This role is ideal for a skilled technician who takes pride in precision work and is confident in rebuilding and repairing automatic and manual transmissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Disassemble, inspect and rebuild automatic and manual transmissions.
• Diagnose transmission issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Follow company and manufacturer repair procedures
• Work efficiently to meet production and quality standards
• Communicate with service advisors regarding repair status

Qualifications:

• 5 Years experience as a transmission builder/rebuilder
• Knowledge of using scanners computers
• Knowledgeable with electronics
• Strong knowledge of transmission units and components
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
• Prefer ability to do programming
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Valid driver's license A MUST
• ASE Certification (preferred but not required) What We Offer

Pay:

$40.00 - $48.00 per hour
