Job Description

Electronic Security Technician Chambersburg, PA (Franklin County, on-site at client facility) | Full-Time A growing security systems integrator is placing a dedicated Electronic Security Technician on-site at a large commercial client facility in Franklin County, PA. This is an embedded role, meaning you will work primarily at a single client location rather than rotating across multiple job sites. The position covers startup and commissioning, preventative maintenance, and service work on Access Control and CCTV/IP Video systems. Schedule Full-time, Monday through Friday. Compensation $75,000 - $100,000 Per Year. Competitive base salary commensurate with experience. What You'll Do In this embedded technician role, you will serve as the primary on-site resource for a single large commercial client, building deep familiarity with their security infrastructure over time. Your work will span the full service lifecycle: commissioning new equipment and system expansions, performing scheduled preventative maintenance to keep systems operating reliably, and responding to service issues as they arise. On the access control side, you will program, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise-grade systems, working at both the hardware and software layers. On the video side, you will install, configure, and service IP-based camera systems and associated recording and management platforms. Networking tasks are a regular part of the role, including IP addressing, switch configuration, and coordination with the client's IT team when system integrations are involved. Because this is a dedicated client placement, you will also be a consistent point of contact for the client's facilities and security personnel, so clear communication and professional conduct on-site are important day to day. Required Qualifications 4 or more years of commercial electronic security experience, with hands-on work in both Access Control and IP Video/CCTV systems Experience with enterprise-level access control platforms (programming, configuration, and troubleshooting) Solid understanding of IP networking as it applies to security systems (IP addressing, VLANs, switch configuration, and network-connected camera systems) Experience performing startup, commissioning, and preventative maintenance on commercial security systems Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred Qualifications 7 or more years of commercial security system installation and service experience Manufacturer certifications in one or more enterprise access control platforms (Lenel, Software House, Genetec, Honeywell Pro-Watch, or similar) Experience in an embedded or dedicated on-site technician role Low voltage license or registration as required by Pennsylvania state regulations Familiarity with video management systems (Milestone, Genetec, Avigilon, Axis, or similar) Compensation and Benefits Competitive base salary commensurate with experience 401(k) with employer match Medical, dental, and vision coverage Take-home vehicle and gas card Paid training and manufacturer certification support Paid time off To apply, submit your resume. Qualified candidates will be contacted to discuss the role and client site in detail.
