Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and maintenance of building systems and equipment. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and mechanical equipment. Repair and troubleshoot electrical equipment using schematics, ohmmeters, and electrical tools to diagnose issues accurately. Conduct HVAC system repairs, including filter replacements, ductwork adjustments, and refrigerant recharges to ensure optimal climate control. Carry out plumbing maintenance and repairs such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and maintaining plumbing systems to prevent disruptions. Utilize hand tools and power tools for carpentry tasks like maintenance painting, building interior repairs, and facility upgrades. Maintain facilities equipment including elevators, fire alarm systems, and other essential building infrastructure. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities and document work performed in logs or reports for accountability. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related roles with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Proficiency with electrical work, schematics reading, and troubleshooting electrical equipment using tools like ohmmeters. Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, welding, carpentry, and maintenance painting. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus but not mandatory. Strong understanding of MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) procedures along with familiarity with building interior maintenance standards. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately for complex repair tasks.
