New to the Memphis area, we are seeking an ambitious team of technicians to be a part of a fast paced and productive work environment. The technician will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining ULDs, which are essential for efficient cargo handling and transportation.
Description:
Performs maintenance and repairs to trucking and aircraft Unit Load Devices (ULD) per all applicable guidelines and requirements. Understands repair procedures as outlined and performs all repairs per the guidelines. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and inspection reports for compliance and tracking purposes. Able to meet productivity goals consistently. Solid and blind rivet installation and removal Cutting and grinding aluminum Component removal and replacement Use of basic hand & power tools Excellent mechanical aptitude High level of ownership and accountability for quality workQualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old High School Diploma or equivalent Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, subject to ongoing tests throughout employment Candidate must be able to clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check in order to obtain and retain credentials necessary for the position. Position specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship Reliable, punctual attendance is essential function of the position A valid driver's licensePreferred:
At least 2 years of prior repair experience (or equivalent trade) Experienced with Forklift operation (preferably certified through previous employment) General understanding of welding (ability to make small welds)Pay:
