In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing electrical systems and components that operate on 12-volt power within vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess strong understanding of audio systems and remote start/security systems. Duties Diagnose and repair electrical issues related to 12-volt systems, including lighting, alarms, power accessories, and electronic modules. Perform vehicle diagnostics using specialized tools. Utilize hand tools, power tools and diagnostic devices safely and effectively. Stay current with emerging automotive electrical technologies and repair techniques. Installation of stereos, amplifiers, speakers, dash cams, remote start/security, consumer electronics etc. Installation of bed covers, nerf bars and truck accessories, etc misc. Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive repair with a focus on electrical systems. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics tools. Mechanical aptitude combined with familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment. Ability to read technical manuals and interpret wiring diagrams accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing complex issues. Service technician experience demonstrating customer service skills and professionalism. Knowledge of auto estimating procedures is a plus.
Pay:
$17.00 - $24.00 per hour
