Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of precision measuring instruments and quality inspection processes, ensuring that all products meet the required standards. Responsibilities Operate laser cutting machines with precision and efficiency. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, to ensure accuracy in production. Conduct quality inspections of finished products to verify compliance with specifications. Perform routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for accurate measurements. Strong quality inspection skills to assess product integrity. Experience with calipers and other measuring tools is essential. Familiarity with lathe operations and plasma cutting techniques is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively. Knowledge of tooling processes and electrical discharge machining (EDM). Experience with stamping press operations is advantageous. Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
