Job Description
Advanced understanding of electrical safety and motor control circuits and programmable drivesTroubleshoot the inputs and outputs on PLC and repair issuesComplete projects to add electrical circuits and controls, new equipment and relocate machinesMaintain and repair pneumatic systems including repairs of cylinders and other componentsPerform simple to complex mechanical Preventative Maintenance Tasks following instructionsEnter all work completed in computer-based maintenance programMonitor and report spare parts usage including completing parts order formsAdjust equipment based on Statistical Process Control data and team with QATrain all levels of technicians in more complex tasks and skillsResponsible for direct reports activitiesPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsAssociates degree in related field, or equivalent relative experience7-10 years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out proceduresAble to strictly adhere to safety policies/procedures and be committed to customer quality. Must be available for regular standby assignments; work scheduled off-hours and emergency overtime as required.
Proficient in Word, Excel, and CMMS systemsMust be willing to attend training sessions as needed, including out of state locationsAbility to train all levels of TechniciansIntermediate knowledge of fabrication (ex. welding, basic machining)Possess strong work ethic and knowledge of intermediate troubleshootingAble to read printed materials, blueprints, schematics, and computer graphicsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and within a team, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships employees, vendors, contractors, and suppliersAbility to show attention to detail in a very fast paced environmentBilingual is plus.(English & spanish)Additional InformationOur location: 9001 Ambassador Row Dallas, TX 75247Why work for Cornerstone Building Brands?
