Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment by performing the following duties:Pay:
$23.50-$25/hour + $1.75/hour shift premium.Shift:
Night Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains industrial particle accelerators and power supplies. Calibrate associated instrumentation Must learn and enforce regulations for the use of ionizing radiation and maintain meticulous records Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, high voltage power supplies, electron accelerators, and replaces damaged or broken components, such as printed circuit boards Tests malfunctioning equipment and discusses malfunction with other internal and external maintenance resources to diagnose malfunction Replaces faulty electrical components of machines such as capacitors, resistors, relays, switches, motors, and position sensing devices Extensive use of electronic meters and radiation detection monitors Understanding of vacuum systems and leak detection. Must work on high voltage producing equipment. Heavy lifting and use of lifting equipment required Strong mechanical skills requiredQualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
2-5 years' experience in electronic maintenance in a manufacturing or military environmentEducation and Experience:
Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Benefits and Perks- 401(k)
