C2O Americas is seeking an experienced Instrument Commissioning Technician to join our team on a major industrial project. In this role, you'll be responsible for the commissioning, calibration, and verification of instrumentation and control systems to ensure optimal plant performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

Perform instrument loop checks, calibration, and functional testing.. Support commissioning and startup of process control systems, transmitters, analyzers, and valves Collaborate with engineering, QA/QC, and operations to verify system functionality and documentation accuracy. Troubleshoot instrumentation and control issues during commissioning and handover phases. Maintain detailed records of testing, calibration data, and redline markups for turnover documentation Ensure all work is performed in compliance with project safety and quality standards. Support system walkdowns and punch list closure during pre-commissioning and final handover

Requirements:

Valid TWIC card. 5+ years of experience in instrumentation commissioning or industrial I&E work. Strong understanding of P&IDs, loop drawings, and control system architecture. Experience with PLC/DCS systems, field devices, and control valves. Familiarity with safety procedures, LOTO, and permit systems, and plant safety procedures. Candidate should be a motivated self-starter with complex problem-solving ability. Experience working with DCS/PLC systems (e.g., Emerson, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Allen-Bradley).
