As a Sr. Rotating Equipment Engineer, you will provide reliability and maintenance mechanical engineering technical support with the primary purpose of increasing rotating equipment reliability. Supports Maintenance Department Annual Goals. Provides support to Operations on Rotating Equipment issues. Provides direction to Maintenance as required. Performs "Root Cause Failure Analysis" on Rotating Equipment. Serves on teams requiring Rotating Equipment Engineering Input. Establishes and update spare parts requests/stocking levels for Rotating Equipment. Develops/Implements Refinery Wide Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program. Develops/Implements Refinery Wide Predictive Maintenance (PdM) Program. Must be available to answer calls and respond to refinery-related issues outside of regular business hours. Required to be on call and provide timely response to refinery-related issues after normal working hours. This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements:

Able and willing to work on-site, in-person at the Valero Port Arthur Refinery, required. Bachelor's of Science (or higher) degree in Engineering required. 5 years rotating equipment experience is required.

Preferred Requirements:
