Job Summary:

Provides logistics support for the maintenance complex. Verifies and

monitors aircraft parts requirements. Monitors and controls Repair Cycle Management

(RCM) government furnished property. Focal point for supply/due-in from Maintenance (DIFM)

related matters. Provides assistance to the work center supervisors in controlling supplies

including, but not limited to, reparable assets.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Maintains an overall knowledge of the automated products available to assist in providing
    supply/equipment support.
  • When necessary order parts for supported work center and makes necessary entries on parts
    issue/request forms (AF Form 2314) and in MIS.
  • Coordinates/reconciles parts ordered/received with MIS and manual documentation. When
    required load status/location for DIFM assets in the Repair Cycle process.
  • Creates job numbers in MIS, prepares AFTO Form 350 and schedules "C" deck items to the
    appropriate back shop for serviceability check.
  • Schedules appointments with Defense Reutilization and Marketing (DRMO), prepares off-line
    DD Form 1348-IA for transferring excess property to DRMO.
  • Reviews and analyzes MIS and SBSS repair cycle data products and monitors asset repair cycle
    time through MIS.
  • Assists supply and work center on the semiannual supply point reconciliation.
  • When necessary expeditiously moves all repaired, NRTS or condemned assets in the repair cycle to
    the next work center or RCSS. Picks up and delivers parts throughout the complex.
  • Receives and schedules all local manufactured assets through MIS and makes necessary entries
    and corrections.
  • Ensures repairable asset documentation is complete and assets are properly tagged and secured
    in their reusable containers, before movement to next work center or turn-in to Supply.
  • Monitors management of DIFM asset processing through the repair cycle.
  • Checks vehicles daily, executing operator's checklist to ensure safe, secure and timely delivery
    of parts as required.
  • Monitors the condition of assigned RCM Consolidated Tool Kit Listings (CTKs) and orders
    replacements as required.

  • Maintains accurate files, records and publications including RCM assigned Government
    Furnished Property (GFP) and CTKs.
  • Follows technical data, manuals, regulations, and other maintenance directives a1required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:

Knowledge

  • A working knowledge of applicable regulations, technical orders and manuals governing the
    Standard Base Supply System and maintenance is required. Working knowledge of computer terminal
    operation for the IMDS Data Base is required.
    Education
  • Completion of high school or equivalent is required and completion of a specialized
    supply courses is desired. The ability to read and write and to comprehend technical instructions is
    required.
    Experience
  • A minimum of two (2) Years' of experience in a Stock Control or Inventory Management
    position or a supply related field equivalent is required. Must have computer skills.
    Special Conditions
  • Possession of a current driver's license is required and must be able to lift a
    minimum weight of 50 lbs.

Possession of a valid driver's license is necessary to obtain flight line

driving privileges.
