CLASSIFICATION SUMMARY
The Supply Clerk I is an entry-level classification of the Supply Clerk suite of classifications for the first six (6) months of employment. The individual is responsible to the first level supervisor and other higher managers to gain the necessary proficiency level to effectively perform the tasks addressed in the major classification activities. Individual is required to perform other reasonably related operational duties as assigned by the first level supervisor or other higher-level managers. Perform safety and security tasks, as necessary. The major classification activities listed below are not all inclusive but the basis for gaining proficiency.
MAJOR CLASSIFICATION ACTIVITIES
Use the Air Force Computer Systems to include Integrated Logistics System-Supply (ILS-S) but not limited to one application, associated and relative to the following processes and data bases as applicable. Perform computations and accumulate data for use in analyses, maintain knowledge of applicable material management publications and records: monitor and maintain documents and report files that establish Materiel Management accountability for stock items maintain a suspense file to ensure Materiel Management personnel process all documents promptly through the
SBSS/ILS-S
; maintain suspense files, document files, document files, and other listings required for quality control of transaction documents; perform quality control check of applicable documentation; accomplish requisitioning actions and maintain due-in, due-out and status files, initiate requisition follow-up action, administer the Bench Stock program; maintain data relative to adjusted, demand, and additional levels; process the Excess Program; maintain the Special Requirements program; process online Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDR); receive, process, and control shipment suspense images (SSC) and files, as necessary; contact wholesale Item Managers (IM's) for status and production information on due-ins, coordinate with other Supply elements and functions, as necessary. Process Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDR), updates unserviceable details, maintains suspense file, inquire AF Deficiency Report computer program or the initiator for disposition and forwards results to Inspection Section for final processing. May refer to miscellaneous computer systems, manuals, or similar documents to ensure that the property item is supplied or to verify the price of property. Make judgements such as choosing which specific product or material from the property available to satisfy the customer's requirement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Be able to obtain and hold a security clearance through an extensive US government background check, possess organizational and communications skills, as well as maturity and ability to deal with all levels of personnel, both inside and outside the company; general working knowledge of PC operations, compatible software, and basic mathematics; maintain a good working relationships with others; be a High School graduate or equivalent. Be able to lift and carry 35-50 pounds and use warehouse material handling equipment for large/heavy items. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Pay:
$24.84 - $28.49 per hour
