Job Description

Hollytree Country Club is seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Golf Course Equipment Manager to lead the maintenance and repair of our golf course equipment fleet. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing club dedicated to providing outstanding course conditions while investing in the equipment, facilities, and people that make it possible. The Equipment Manager is a vital member of the golf course maintenance team and works closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standards of performance, reliability, and safety. Key Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair all golf course maintenance equipment, including diesel, gasoline, and electric-powered mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, and small-engine equipment. Prioritize and schedule equipment repairs to maximize fleet availability and minimize downtime. Develop and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for the entire equipment fleet. Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair histories, equipment inventory, and parts inventory. Manage the maintenance shop, ensuring a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Perform daily reel maintenance, reel and bedknife grinding, sharpening, and precision mower setup to produce exceptional playing conditions. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Maintain adequate inventories of repair parts, lubricants, and shop supplies. Communicate equipment needs, repair priorities, and monthly purchasing requirements with the Golf Course Superintendent. Ensure all equipment is maintained in safe operating condition and according to manufacturer specifications. Assist in training maintenance staff on proper equipment operation, routine inspections, and safe work practices. Continuously improve shop organization, efficiency, and preventative maintenance procedures. Qualifications Willing to maintaining and repairing golf course maintenance equipment. Strong working knowledge of diesel, gasoline, electric, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and perform high-quality repairs. Preferred experience but can provide training related to grinding reels and bedknives while setting up mowing equipment to produce superior turf quality. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Valid driver's license required. Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience as a Golf Course Equipment Manager or Equipment Technician. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Preferred experience maintaining Toro, John Deere, Jacobsen, Kubota, and other commercial turf equipment.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
