Charter Aarrowcast is seeking a Maintenance Electromechanic Technician to keep our foundry equipment running safely and reliably. In this hands-on role, you'll troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems supporting gray and ductile iron casting operations. You'll perform preventive maintenance, read schematics, adjust controls, and support continuous improvement to reduce downtime. Work closely with production and engineering in a safety-focused culture that invests in modern technology, training, and long-term career growth. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical equipment, conveyors, and foundry machinery Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals Install, align, and calibrate sensors, motors, drives, and control components Use multimeters, PLC interfaces, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes of failures Perform basic PLC, VFD, and control system adjustments under established guidelines Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and parts usage records accurately Follow strict safety procedures and support 5 S and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability Support on-call or off-shift coverage as needed in a 24/7 foundry environment Required Skills Industrial equipment maintenance Electromechanical troubleshooting Reading electrical schematics Mechanical repair and alignment Pneumatic and hydraulic systems VFD and motor controls Basic PLC troubleshooting Preventive maintenance programs Lockout/Tagout and safety procedures Use of multimeters and diagnostic tools
