WeldFab Manufacturing is looking for a highly experienced Laser Operator on weekend shift. Work 36 hours, get paid for 40!

Responsibilities:
Run the laser machine, including loading and unloading materials Follow all safety policies, procedures, and standard work instructions Denest sheet metal parts from laser-cut sheets Ensure all parts leaving the laser/denest area are correct, with a sign off by a laser operator Inspect and measure parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications Comply with all audit procedures (e.g., layered process audits, cleaning logs, and other quality checks) Troubleshoot and validate equipment and production processes independently or with senior manufacturing personnel, production management, quality, and engineering teams to identify and resolve issues Promptly report any machine malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to management Safely operate overhead cranes, tape measures, calipers, basic hand tools, air tools, and forklifts Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area to ensure a safe and efficient workspace Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
5+ years of on-the-job experience in a laser operation role or an equivalent combination of education and experience 1+ year laser programming experience Ability to read, interpret, and follow basic work instructions and blueprints Proficiency in using measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.) Basic mathematical skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
Compensation:
Negotiable; based on experience $3.00/hr weekend shift premium
Shift Hours:
5am-5pm Friday- Sunday Work 36 hours, get paid for 40 WeldFab Manufacturing is an equal opportunity employer.
