Processes medical and non-medical supplies used in patient care. Duties including decontamination, cleaning, disinfecting, assembly of procedure sets and equipment. Wrapping items to be sterilized, and sterilization as policies and procedures indicate. Decontaminates, cleans, processes, assembles and sterilizes medical/surgical devices used in patient care. Transportation of needed equipment to/from its place of use.
What you will need:
High school diploma or equivalent or 5+ years similar experience. Additional education in central services preferred. Certification as a Registered Central Services Technician preferred. Experience in sterile processing/central service preferred.
