Job Description
Company Overview Advantest is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of advanced test and measurement equipment used in semiconductor production. Responsible for the design and integration of complex electronic test systems that are used for production test and characterization of semiconductor devices and modules. Participates in a broad range of tasks including working with cross-functional team to perform electronic circuit design/ PCB layout design and integration/ validation, production test verification, troubleshooting, and deployment setup/ support.
Responsibilities include:
Participates in a cross-functional team to develop creative, cost-competitive integration/ validation/ test solutions for new products at a system and sub-system level Interfaces with system engineering team and Manufacturing to ensure that systems meet all requirements and ship on time. Electrical design, including high speed digital circuit, analog circuit design, micro-computer, FPGA, power switching circuits. Electrical signal integrity/ Power integrity simulation and analysis. Collaborates with the mechanical and firmware design teams, to ensure proper integration and validation of systems. selection, participating in supplier design reviews, etc. Drive reliability and quality into the testing process of all units shipped to customers. Ensures that technical reviews occur in accordance with company processes Produce system specification and test acceptance documentation. Support factory testing activities as needed. All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education:
BS in Electrical Engineering. 5+ years of experience working as a team member in a multi-disciplinary team consisting of electrical, software, and mechanical engineers. 5+ years of experience in electrical circuit design, PCB layout design/ PCB layout design process and rules, integration, and test of complex systems Knowledge of instrumentation devices, and expertise in using and integrating them into larger test systems. Prior experience in developing semiconductor production testers (ATEs) or characterization testers or system level testers is a huge plus. Experience in the manufacturing release process. Detailed knowledge of Acceptance Testing and/or System Testing procedures. Experience in a programing language such as C, C#, or Python a plus. Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Must be willing to work onsite in our Lake Forest, CA facility.
Pay:
$45.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
