Job Description
At Proception, we're building the most dexterous humanoid hands and the most responsive tactile gloves in the world. As an Electrical Engineer, you'll work on the design of electrical systems that handle motor control, power delivery, sensor integration, and real-time communication, all within extremely tight constraints. Your work will directly impact the intelligence, responsiveness, and robustness of our robotic platforms.
Requirements:
Solid EE fundamentals with hands-on experience designing, building, and testing high-density, mixed-signal PCBAs Extensive background in sizing and designing power electronics circuitry for high power applications, protection circuitry, and identifying the common failure modes associated with power electronics designs Experience with high speed design (PCIe Gen1-5, USB3/4, MIPI, Ethernet) Experience with motor controller design (gate drivers, H-bridges, BLDC topologies) Familiarity with EMI/EMC mitigation and thermal-aware layout Expertise in schematic and layout design (+) Experience with Flex PCB Design (+) Experience using LTspice, Python, and Matlab Competitive salary with meaningful equity Complete ownership of projects and systems Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits Opportunity to work on one of the most technically challenging and high-impact robotics platforms today Work at the intersection of embedded systems, intelligent control, and human-like machines Backed by YC and leading deep tech VCs, with a team of top-tier engineers and researchers Design and validate PCBAs for compute boards, camera electronics, power distribution boards, battery management systems, sensing boards, and motor controllers Support board bring-up, system debugging, and diagnostics across the full embedded stack Support system integration and testing Contribute to overall architecture decisions Work closely with mechanical and software teams to validate electrical designs in real robotic systemsBenefits
